On Saturday 9 November 2013, musicians from the ARIA Award winning Australian Brandenburg Orchestra will be performing an intimate baroque concert in the beautiful surrounds of St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Bowral.
It is a rare opportunity for lovers of the baroque to hear the music of the 16th and the 17th century brought to life on period instruments, and experience the Brandenburg’s stylish fresh and joyful music-making up close. Hear the exquisite sound of gut stringed violins, violas and cellos, the haunting cornetto,
theorbo (long necked lute), baroque guitar and the harpsichord performed by some of this country’s finest period musicians.
