DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Paul Dyer, celebrates the music of the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth Centuries with excellence.
The orchestra is seeking to appoint a Development Manager who will bring vision and enthusiasm to the creation of a successful strategy that will drive the orchestra’s fundraising, philanthropy activities and corporate partnerships.
The Development Manager will identify, develop and manage new relationships and opportunities for individuals, corporations and other community partners. The Development Manager will lead a small but highly committed team to work with the orchestra’s loyal subscribers and its corporate partners in order to build an effective stream of relationships to ensure the growth of the Development Department thus underpinning the future of the organisation.
The successful applicant should possess a strong background in working in areas of corporate partnerships, philanthropy and fundraising. Experience in the arts would be an advantage. We are seeking a person with proficient leadership and communication skills and with demonstrable success in achieving fundraising goals and the delivery of targets.
The Development Manager will report to the Managing Director and work with the Board and senior management of the organisation.
